Outdoor knitting
I am still working on the SAME sweater! Not sure if I can finish this while it’s still cold enough to wear it? The weather is getting nice here, and perfect for out of doors knitting as you can see.
If I had more sweaters under my belt (or experience with sleeve caps and shaping), I might have caught the problem with the free sweater pattern I’m using? It seems that the top of the cap should be rounded and 2 inches smaller than it knitted up (unless I wanted a pretty puffy sleeve)!
Sighs
So, I had to rip both sleeves back to the ribbing (almost) and re-do both the shaping and sleeve cap dimensions. I tried using this article from knitty as a guideline, but it almost made things even more complicated.
Wish me luck, those sleeve caps still need to be seamed!
